I made this 50’s insipred dress for my New Year’s Eve celebrations.  The fabric came from Ebay and is a 50’s original.  There was just enough for the dress but not for the facings - don’t tell anybody.  I created the pattern myself and am very proud of it.  My pattern cutting course is paying off.

We went out to Ladywood Rockabilly night which was brilliant.  I got my head round ‘strolling‘.  It’s a bit like line dancing but with much better music.

I ended my celebrations dancing in a kitchen to The Knife’s Like a Pen.  It was a very Happy New Year indeed
